Lizzy Norman

Elizabeth is a freelance writer and journalist who specialise in stories with a humanitarian angle, particularly in the areas of conflict, human rights and children’s rights. Her work has previously been published by the German Development Policy Forum Digital Development Debates, along with organisations such as Safe World For Women and The Conflict Comment. Elizabeth has a Master’s degree in Political Theory from the University of Sheffield, where she focused on ethnic conflict, human rights and the under-reported problem of child piracy, along with an undergraduate degree in Philosophy with Journalism from the University of Hertfordshire. She has previously lived in Tanzania and South Africa.
