Richard is the President of the National Federation of Atheist, Humanist and Secular Student Societies. He has varied educational background, having attended seven different schools and two universities in three different countries. As a teenager, Richard started to get involved with the Atheist, Humanist and Secular community. During his undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham, he also became interested in the philosophy of science. Currently, Richard is studying for an MSc in Bioinformatics with systems biology and intends to pursue a career researching the molecular biology of Ageing.
